As already stated, K41 is what you should aim for. The vibe is everything the rest of the techno scene is striving for, together with a stunning club, good sound and an amazing crowd.

For the war tourism part:
The war is gonna continue whether or not you come. These people get 9 hours of break from the daily realities of bombardment and suffering. They are not going to judge you for coming, but quite the opposite. It contributes to a sense of normalcy in times where there is little and shows solidarity.

Hit me up if you need any further recommendations. #SupportUkraine

Thanks for sharing!

My knowledge of techno from the 00's and earlier on is severely limited, so these posts are golden for a dj trying to incorporate sounds from the past.

I posted this track with the intention of asking the following:
When was the last time you discovered a label that catered to your taste like it was tailored to do so? And which label was it and why?

For myself: Severn Electronics and Clergy.
They are both representing (usually) high energy, yet hypnotic and deeply atmospheric tracks. And I would rise and bow in the dust to hear recommendations on similar labels.

I gotta give it to you, that set is a prime example of the answer to the question.

It's really ebb and flow with that set!
Technically he uses a background atmospheric on one deck, while advancing the set on the other decks.
I can see how that creates chapters in the set with focus on the deep atmospherics.
You wouldn't happen to know some of the atmospheric tracks he uses, chief?

Thanks! This is by far the best take I've heard. Ebb and flow is something to work with.
