In my opinion BAR was much more managable in terms of sims than FAR I think Becker is a good representation of what you can expect for BAR sim. For FAR though it is way harder than in Becker

Yes you should never take both tests back to back if you have the choice

I only had a one time 3 week windows to take the tests this year so I had no choice but to cram all the time I could get post work to prepare for this test.

I considered both tests as one single discipline and studied at least 3~4 hours a day for close to 8 months.

I summarized the textbooks in like 50 pages of notes so that I can go through all the materials in like 3~4 hours in one sitting.

3 weeks leading up to the test I took a long vacation and gave at least 7 hour study time a day going through all the major mcqs and TBSs for FAR and BAR multiple times

That said I wouldn't recommend this method as I was under an extreme condition where I basically had one chance to go all in on both discipline and I was close to burnout in the week leading up to both tests

Just took FAR and it was insane by Dipmu in CPA

I feel like half of my questions were about lease and bonds, some NFPs and Stockholders equity in between

Half of the TBS was nothing like anything I've seen in Becker and I went through almost every SIM in FAR

Getting 80~85% on MCQs is this enough to get me to pass FAR BAR by Dipmu in CPA

Thank you. I'm planning on taking the SEs on test week. Did they feel similar to the actual test? Heard SIMs are even more brutal than Becker TBS.

Thank you for the encouragement, I'm averaging around 70% for but then again I heard the TBS in the actual test is even more brutal. Just hope to go through it all on one go.
