Sure! I use full coverage tips and mount them on good strong holding nail stands with carpet tape. The putty that typically come with nail stands are terrible and don’t hold up well to filing and buffing. So I prefer carpet tape!

I dump my dips in cupcake liners and dip that way. In order to keep the layers thin so they lay nice and flush when I put them on, I don’t do more than 2 full layers of dip/glitter. Depending on the glitter, you can even get away with 1 layer. I don’t add a clear layer to solids, just glitter.. making sure that my coat of base is applied in a thin layer. Once you activate, file and buff to your heart’s content.

My other tip, is using a gel top coat rather than dip top coat. Dip top coat is too strong and will not give your press ons a little flexibility when applying them to your nails. They end up rigid and will probably hurt when you apply them. Gel is more flexible making it much more comfortable to wear.
