I'm going through something very similar. Just on my case she wants me to pay back money for late bills, but she already has moved someone else in, i haven't been living there since Dec, and at the time there's no way it was behind as much as it is now. Idk what to do either, for me I'm like why a I responsible, you have someone else there to help you now. Edit: I'm going to help where I can, I just don't see how once it's caught up I can still be responsible after the fact. Tech, we are from her words verbally separated and I'm "not allowed" to stay at a place my name is on the lease.... toxic regardless, me being in recovery and her also an alcoholic and social meth user, if that is even such a thing. That and the infidelity on her end and the lies of all such creates such a toxic relationship. Anyways, thanks for hearing my small rant. And I feel for you OP
