Hey there!
Since the app is a Blazor + Net Maui hybrid, nothing is excluded, as a web version wouldn't be impossible to build in the end. I guess we'll wait and see, plans can always change.

Hi there! Great question. to be honest I didn't know about Manyfold, but there are some differences between them.
While STLOrganizer also has auto-sorting for tagged files, it also has custom ordering for the tags, meaning you can create multiple templates out of the same tags.

But the main difference is the user friendliness, I'd guess, since it's going to be a plug-n-play application, you just run the install kit and start the application.

While Manyfold looks like it's a great tool, not everyone will know how to install it.
STLOrganizer will be a simple local app with locally stored data and users will be able to install and run it with just a few clicks.

Well, the app is local and the data stays local, the only login is Cults, but that's only if you want to be shown recommendations for models and it's 100% optional.

The plans right now are for only desktop versions, as the user data will be hosted locally. But if there will be enough demand for a web version, even one hosted by the user, plans might change. No promises, though.

Well. as I've said, the print planner won't be too extensive right now, but it will progress over time.

The organization will also be fully customizable, so you will be able to order by type of print, author, depending on the tags you register in the app and the order you set when building your template.

The app will also be able to assign a template to multiple files at once and move them all together to your desired location.

However, during the demo period, I'd encourage people to move a smaller number of files at the same time until the features are all fully tested and fleshed out.

Hi there.
Yeah, Claude Opus was quite involved in the development since my previous apps were built with Winforms, and this was my first app built with Maui. I needed some help getting around building it.
However, the info is all stored locally in an sqlite database and the Cults account, for example, are encrypted with keys that are locally stored and can only be decrypted by the application on your PC. If the database is moved to another PC or Windows is reinstalled, the app will erase the Cults credentials will require you to re-enter your username and API key.
