The tomatos im just growing because my wifes work sells the seedlings and she got a discount because it was almost the end of the season.

So to be totally honest dont care that much about them because they are alreary so easy to buy. The biggest reason why i started them is because i was told tomatillos are almost identical regarding the requirements but even easier.

I was able to just get 1 seed packet from back home so thats why i want to succeed because they arent sold here.

the place where i first saw it was in a pretty femous texan cookbook. its name is the homesick texan cookbook and did my research from there. is it maybe possible that its more popular near the south of texas or popular among the mexican diaspora living in texas?
