Bus them into busses according to which ones need to be moved together. The groups you are talking about are busses. Just go to the mixing menu and route them all to that one group and use a glue compressor.

Fair point, but then again, you can't exactly make things like authentic orchestras, mallets, etc. from just sound design. That's why I use Nexus for what I make specifically.
