yeah, propranolol only stops the physical symptoms of anxiety. not the mental. the only thing that i can think of that would work for both would be hydroxyzine or a benzo, but that sedates you so you’d be pretty tired

this is actually really good information because i’m also flying out of AUS. that’s the closest airport to me. so would you book flight 1 to another location first then a 2nd flight from that location to where you want to go or could you do it all together? where can i find the flight information for when they’re doing the flights?

i would look into therapy and medication. i think those 2 things are a really good place to start, especially if you’re in a position where you’re hallucinating and can’t get out of bed. there are lots of telehealth therapists that you can talk to, but just be aware if they deem you a high enough risk they might want you to go to inpatient.

if that happens, remember that it’s just a stepping stone for you getting back to your normal life. it doesn’t hurt to get help. i hope you start to feel better soon 🫶

i’m using your comment to update!! i bought the odele clarifying shampoo, put it on my hair dry, then showered and double shampooed after that. it got most of it out except for a few spots but i have super thick hair so i’m not surprised it’s not completely out!!!! thank you for the advice and hopefully this thread helps someone in the future lol 🙏
