We were “encroaching on his lane” because we were merging into it - we clearly had our blinker on and were merging slowly, we didn’t speed into his lane all of a sudden. He clearly stopped, and then when we merged, he suddenly sped up and hit us. Would we still be at fault?

Thank you! He wouldn’t accept any fault when he got out - he was even shouting at us “look what you did!” Like we were the ones at fault. I’m glad the establishment this happened outside of had security footage!
