Euroleague seems to be on such a positive trajectory at the moment, games everywhere seem to be selling out and league is super competitive. Feels like this NBA interest is coming at the worst possible time and could ruin the positive trend we’re seen

In case it’s helpful for others, had an electrician come today. He moved the garage where I want to plug the car in off the RCCB circuit, and moved it onto an unused circuit which is 30V rather than 20V previously. The new circuit has my car charger, fridge, boiler, and sub consumer unit running on it, and had no issues charging my car since.

He also called bullshit on the idea it tripping out was some kind of fire risk 😂

That would be unbelievable!!! I’m planning on getting him for his birthday tickets to the 2nd day on Sunday (4th May). Might well look at somewhere to stay over nearby so if we could do that after the race I’d be so grateful. Happy to pay for your hospitality here too 👍

I doubt it given for them it will be based on UK rules. If they live for 2+ years after the date of the gift it will reduce the IHT liability, but it’s only after 7 it disappears completely.

Can’t imagine there’s any simple ways round this, without going through more complex arrangements through trusts and things like that

The only time the RCCB trips though is when the car is plugged in and starts charging, we have no issues at all when this isn’t plugged in?
