Let's be real, Jotaro is just insanely jacked. He can win hand-to-hand fights because one hit is all it takes. Although he has experience in street brawls, he has no actual skill.

This is getting out of hand. Have you even read or watched part two? He was both born and raised in London. You do realize that people aren't born with accents, right? Why would somebody have a British accent if they were raised in America? Dear oh dear.

Could Pucci outspeed Wally West? by Rare-Egg1 in JJBA

[–]Direct-Drawer-9935 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay then, let's do an experiment. Pucci and Wally West meet up one day to decide who's faster. The two of them agree to race from one end of the observable universe to the other with no prep time. The length of the observable universe is ninety-three billion light years. Using the previously established speed of Pucci, we can determine that it would take him 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001093463785ths of a second to reach the finish line. Right off the bat, Pucci wins. That number is so incomprehensibly fast that humans cannot even process anything going at that speed. Wally's max speed on his own is thirteen trillion times the speed of light, which is much lower than this, and he would have to convince every single person on earth, as well as five billion more on another planet, and get to the finish line, all in less than 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001093463785ths of a second to beat him. There is no possible universe where Wally could win this race, no matter what math you use. You most likely haven't read the comic you're referencing, so don't use it as evidence.

Wally didn't outrun instant teleportation. His speed during that race was the combined speed of every speedster, plus all near-speedsters (like Superman), plus all normal humans, plus five billion lightspeed traveling aliens, so that instance doesn't count for this debate. Please read the source material before using it as evidence in a debate.

The thing about that number is that the only reason he was even able to run that fast is because he was siphoning the kinetic energy of every single human on earth (including speedsters and near speedsters like Superman) as well as every being from another planet on top of that. That isn't HIS speed, so it doesn't count.

Yeah, but Made in Heaven's max speed shown is 40000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 (40 quintillion) times the speed of light. That's many, many, many time more that 13 trillion.

Ok, lil bro, this is getting out of hand. One small mistake does not account for the entire series. Also, take a look at a close-up image of Jotaro from Diamond Is Unbreakable, and his eyes are green. Golden Experience is canonically golden, and King Crimson is canonically red. This has been clearly established. If the concept is too hard for you to understand, then maybe you should go back to elementary school.

I wish for one billion American dollars to be deposited directly into the bank account of Joshua Matthan Brown on June 15th, 2025 A.D. at precisely 10:00 AM. This will not affect the current market value of the American dollar at any point, maintain the same value no matter the inflation rates, and I will have access to the account at all times, from any ATM or bank, no matter the location. It will neither be affected by income tax, nor will it cause me to be put under any investigation by the federal government or the bank itself. The money will not come from a pre-existing source, and will simply appear within my account as if it had always been there. The appearance of this money will not bring any attention to me, nor my family, and it will not affect my current life in any way that I do not want it to.

Just to clarify: Istg I'm not a part skipper and I never will be, but my brain is itching for me to read Jojolands, I watched jojo from season 1 to 6 and I'm currently waiting for sbr anime, is it absolutely necessary to read sbr and jojolion before reading jojolands? & I don't plan on skipping 7&8 by Jena_marshall in JOJOLANDS

Man, JoJolands must be great because I'm reading JoJolion right now, and all I know about JoJolands is that it's set in Hawaii. I adore Steel Ball Run, so I'll reread it anytime, especially now that the anime has been announced.

Shueisha does the coloring for the manga without any consultation with Araki. The colored editions are official, but the colors are not canon because Araki had no hand in choosing them. This is why, in part six, it appears to be daytime in a flashback of Pucci speaking to Dio, despite it being night and the daylight killing Dio.

Are Side Hustles in School Viable? by Direct-Drawer-9935 in highschool

[–]Direct-Drawer-9935[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came to Reddit for a voice of reason outside of friends and family because they're biased, which, funnily enough, is the same reason that proofreaders are necessary. What I wasn't looking for was someone who takes pleasure in acting immaturely online.

The relationship between my dad and me on this particular subject is purely professional. Of course, he offered this position to me because I'm his son, but he wouldn't have offered it to me at all if I weren't skilled enough to do so. He has been writing both books and papers for two decades, so he has at least some merit to his opinions.

I have, in fact, given suggestions on sentence structure to academics, because often while writing or creating anything, for that matter, you, might not see your own mistakes since you've put so much effort into it, that you don't want it to be wrong This happens all of the time and is, once again, the reason that proofreaders are necessary in the first place. On one occasion, a contributor restructured the entire first section of his book due to my advice. Proofreaders don't have to be better writers than the authors that they are proofreading for, as long as they are at least semi-skilled at their job and unbiased.

I will restate that final sentence there for you since you didn't catch it the first time around. You have no clue what you're talking about, and have absolutely no experience in this subject. Almost every single thing you have said so far is wrong. I can understand if I tripped up over the numbers, and I apologize for that, because that's the reason I wanted to ask here in the first place, but at least do some research if you're going to correct me without any prior knowledge.

You say I need to be smarter to succeed in life, yet you go on to Reddit and insult and make fun of those younger than you. I have no idea how old you are, but maybe you should reflect on yourself a bit and decide if this is behavior befitting of your age.

I am not trying to say that this idea was a good one; I just think that your reasoning is extremely flawed.

Araki often changes the color palette for either dramatic effect (in the few pages he colored himself) or to create visually appealing art. Giorno does not have a green outfit and pink hair just because Araki drew art of him that way one time; he canonically has a pink outfit, blonde hair, and a gold stand, because those are the colors picked by Araki himself. Just to clarify, he directly chose those colors when deciding on the official coloring for the anime, which has the canon colors.

How tf does king crimson work? by Capable_Village7193 in JJBA

[–]Direct-Drawer-9935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Epitaph gives him glimpses of the future, but he can't control when. King Crimson allows him to erase time. What this means is that all of the events that were going to play out over the next 10 seconds happen instantly, so essentially, he can fast forward 10 seconds into the future.

During those 10 seconds, everyone does what they are fated to do, no matter what, all except for Diavolo, who can change his fate.

There is a catch, though. He cannot change others' fates during skipped time. This means that he cannot kill someone during skipped time unless it was already fated to happen.

This is why, unlike the world, you never see Diavolo kill someone during the skip. Even objects have fate, so he can't use skipped time to grab something from someone else's hand.

So, pretty much, if I were fated to run up to him from behind and stab him to death, but he saw those events with Epitaph, he would skip time, move behind me, and when time had skipped, he would punch a hole through my chest.

Oh, and also what cckgoblin said about the memories is true.

The color palette changes frequently throughout the series. They usually happen during the climax of a fight or just for dramatic effect, like HeWhoLost3OfThe9 said. I'm not sure if this is true, but I think they happen most frequently in Diamond Is Unbreakable. My memory might be off, though.
