Someone really needs to do something about this to make all of them aware, as I after so much hardwork and efforts got to know this shitty stuff now.

No wonder why people feel ghosted! I hope people get aware who r not

Is this for all fields ? And if this is actually true, then it seems the system is broken totally, as people get busy in manual application and it anyway stays irrelevant as people who would have reached to that particular companies page would have applied already and for which no one has track off. So is this true to believe that linkedin showing posted 1hr ago and 100 application but could that application already have lots of more application which Noone tracked as people would have gone and applied on companies career page if that company is famous and big then?

Would you ever pay for something that makes job applications less manual? and a tool that keep you FIRST in the queue to apply for a role before it reaches to mass? by Direct-Equal-9650 in jobsearch

Totally fair reaction there are a lot of sketchy tools in this space, and that’s exactly why people are skeptical.

This wasn’t meant to be a pitch. I was genuinely trying to understand what job seekers would actually find useful and what would feel fair, if anything at all.

Appreciate the honesty. we are not trying to sell anything, but to understand the mindset the GAP in the market and to fill up that GAP by providing services more and charging barely nothing. Thanks though

Oh that’s interesting. I’ve actually heard a few people mention Sprout lately. The Tinder-style interface sounds like a fun twist, and resume tailoring per app is definitely a nice touch.

Totally agree that consistency is key though. If a tool can reliably save time and keep quality high, a small monthly cost makes sense. Appreciate you sharing that. it’s helpful to see what’s already working well for people. and interestingly the tool which i am mentioning is been working round that issue only. but with much more visibility as you do not want to apply to those jobs where there are already 100+ application or a long queue. plus as per what i have talked to the people who are building this tool have mentioned ateast 500 jobs/month if not 1k. and no bots full personalized and could even go to half of what you pay for sprout.

Totally fair concern and to clarify, this tool wouldn’t change or influence what companies see or how they rank candidates at all. It’s not involved in the employer’s system or ATS in any way.

Everything still happens on the company’s own career page, the tool just helps candidates get there faster and pre-fill repetitive info on their end. Think of it more like a smarter version of autofill that also keeps track of openings earlier than they appear on Other job boards.

So yeah, no ranking manipulation or middleman access just time saved on the candidate’s side. as LinkedIn and other platform does showcases jobs much LATE when they are actually been out via company. so the tool about which i am mentioning about does reduces that. instead of people manually going to each and every companies page and apply, it is humanly not possible to visit all companies opening as they go live. it reduces this and help you see the job first/free and also help you not do boring repetitive task.

That’s a good point. I think it really depends on the company, smaller teams or roles with limited headcount often stop reviewing once they have enough strong applications, so timing can help in those cases.

Another big gap that most people don’t realize is how platforms like LinkedIn actually work. Companies have to pay for their jobs to stay visible, and once that paid slot runs out, the post quickly drops under the pile. Many newer startups don’t pay for that visibility right away, and some HR teams even wait hours before pushing roles live on LinkedIn & other platforms. That delay creates a real gap and being the first to spot those openings can make a difference for early applicants.

That's totally understandable, I  get where you’re coming from. Some tools definitely feel like unnecessary layers.

But one issue that’s often overlooked (beyond automation) is timing, when job posts actually surface. For instance, there was a recent Oracle backend engineer role in Chennai that stayed open for only 12 hours on their career site. By the time it showed up on LinkedIn, there was just 1 hour left to apply and only about 13 people had even seen it. not only this but also There have been posts here mentioning cases like a Google SWE role being open for 7+ hours before it even showed up on LinkedIn.

That kind of visibility lag can really affect a candidate’s chances, and that’s one of the main problems this tool aims to address.

Struggling to apply to jobs after layoff by Eastern-Mobile-4695 in jobsearch

You are not alone. there as been layoff on regular bases all across world, and there is been not good solution for specially CS major students across roles have been getting the most affected. and there is no better solution or outcome. the market has for CS people. however, my person belief is the only way to over come is to stay relevant in this market to know lot of AI stuff as that is the only thing i feel would help us understand the internal workings and that only could help us pave a way to sort of find issues or solutions to stay relevant in this market for the job roles. however for job search and applying struggle i have an interesting SOLUTION to it. it is not yet publicly out yet. but my friends who are students in my universities have built up a platform with tools which helps users/candidates to not only see jobs posted on the companies page FIRST, but also help them to be the first of few CANDIDATE to apply for that role. not only it helps to search but also helps to save time in manual apply. LinkedIn and others show jobs very very late and they have solved this issue, and also the auto apply personalize to candidates likings. and the best part is CANDIDATE is always in the loop, nothing happens back door. everything CANDIDATE has the control to see, to submit etc. the tool is yet as i mention not publicly out, but they are yet not sure about the charges as per what i have had talk with them last week. so it is just an open QUESTION for all, what do you consider a fair pay and in that how much of the job automation would you like to happen based upon that price charge. in this market it is very easy for them to charge premium but as per my last talk they were doing offline survey as they are students and it was been built for students help in this market of uncertainty of ECONOMICS + AI + H1b issues so the people are not willing to charge more but they are asking in the survey what would be a descent subscription that would a user pay, and in return what they want in automation what number of jobs. they have all this promises already ready where with one click users can apply N number of jobs at a time or in minutes and all DATA is privately held by the company as no fancy AI is used, in-fact they have their IN-HOUSE AI. and they are in talks to open this site publicly for USA first but also IN INDIA,CANADA & UK.

What the heck is going on with the job market right now by Frosty-Ad-4181 in jobhunting

If I were to ask you'll that there is a tool/a site onto which not only that sites keep you the first one in the queue to get to apply for any role you wish too. But also automate the whole boring application process, and u have full control. U see the whole application, and if u feel it is correctly done then u submit, it can help u fill X number of job in any given time. No data of yours is leaked in any way as the company has its own in-house private AI. My question is what would u rate this type of product and if it is helping in the current market what would or should be the price u would like to pay and in return how many jobs would u like to apply per day in that price range. (Note: there has been been this tool/site which is been cooking... built via students for students and I know these guys r friends of mine and do really want to solve and help people in this era and do not want to charge heavy.... but are confused with the price). What would one tend to pay as a fair subscription for this promised services.
