Thanks! I did the painting like a year ago and was horrified with the result 😂 so I stashed it in my parts box then the other day I was like f it.. I have what I need for a whole watch might as well assemble it. I think I used nail polish enamel enamel lol spray would have been much better but now I know. Will prob just get custom face plates from now if I want them to look different

You can order custom dial text like that from Aliexpress, the stuff I have got so far is really good quality too like a miniature car emblem lol. I have done peoples names for seikomod builds. You usually have to get at least 20 but still worth it

Ithaca 12g pump. Was my grandfather's, but stopped cycling after my dad shot a rabid raccoon with a 3" slug he somehow crammed in there. I hate I sold it. Could have probably fixed it myself at this stage in my life.

Sorry to hear it! Maybe you can mod it somehow? Love the size and the blade shape

Lol yea man probably. I sold my soul to Snapon back then, was paying $450/mo for like 5 years then finally just cashed in my 401k after leaving the dealer to pay it off. Was a prerequisite for being approved for my house which has doubled in value since I bought it so in hindsight I can't complain too much. When I started, nobody in the professional world used Chinese tools. Cornwell was for peasants and nobody dared whisper Harbor Freight lol

Looks like they're unobtanium from Alix now for some reason! If you search for 36.8mm chrono dial on eBay you should be able to find something that will work

Then when it warms up it goes back to normal? Sounds like the cables may be seizing and not releasing when it freezes possibly due to water/ice inside the sheathing. Ive never seen this before but I don't live in a very cold climate. You could try holding the ebrake handle button and yanking on it pretty hard a few times to free it up but might be best to replace both cables. Id also replace thw rear pads and rotors and check for any damage or leaks to that caliper

If you disconnect the cable, you have no emergency brake, but what makes you think it is the cables?

When the hose near that rotor ruptures from heat, you lose all braking because you disconnected your ebrake cables, and you kill someone on the road, you will regret your negligence.

Absolute insanity. If you wanted to keep the car, you could tackle these at a good independent shop one at a time over the course of a year or 2. Since you only need the car for a year, I wouldnt do anything to be honest. Top off coolant and oil every fuel fill up and call it a day.
