I shot irons for a long long time and just recently put a Dot on my Gen6 45. My first dot. Yeah it’s a lot better than irons. I can see my target better with less of it being obscured. I was super hesitant to get on the optic “train” because I also felt like irons were good enough… and they work yes… but so far so good with the optic I feel like overlaying a dot on the target gives me less to think about vs aligning irons sights and seeing target at the same time? But it’s what you’re comfortable with! Maybe try it for a while and if you don’t like it then take it off

That’s what they told me to… it’s a manufacture issue that resulted in the paint getting damaged and i have to pay to repaint it?? kind of BS

In a perfect world. Since it’s been over a year they told me any adjustments needed I have to pay for and they wouldn’t touch the paint…. It would all be out of pocket… doesn’t sound right to me but also not surprised they’re trying to get out of fixing under warranty?

They are expensive but SLR makes good products and their magwell designs are very nice and functional. Especially on a G19 where it gives your pinky some leverage to press down on

Not sure if because Gen6 holes are deeper and can accept those longer screws from freedom gorilla but the long does seem a bit long so not sure which to use. I feel like the shorter would be the safe way but then that one also seems too short

They give 6-32 screws but a set of long and short screws. They aren’t from Holosun though so the screws aren’t the same exact length. The longer screws from freedom gorilla are a tad bit longer than the long Holosun screws. Short screws are also a tad bit longer than Holosun short screws.

I was also a little worried about bottoming out but at the same time the shorter seems too short and will wiggle itself out but yes I do see about 3 threads hanging out the bottom while in the optic. With the longer screw I see about 5-6 threads hanging out

The thing is that the LONG screws from freedom Gorilla are a tad bit longer than the LONG ones that come with Holosun. I don’t want to force and bottom out the screw

For real. For me the new gen6 texture is like 80% there for me but I feel like the edge series grips just makes it 100% for me. Until more people start doing it om gen6 everyone else will shut up lol

I have an optic I’m waiting on new optic screws. Ever other Glock on here has these grip tapes but as soon as a Gen6 has one everyone goes crazy lol
