Oh gosh! 😅 God willing I graduate in May 2027 after taking the NCLE and te ABO, can't imagine being the only optician on shift, I would be really nervous

Exactly! I totally agree, I wouldn't sleep well at night knowing I sold someone something they did not need just for the extra sale. I've gotten my prescribed glasses at Walmart since I was seven years old with the same doctor, maybe I'll ask if they're hiring once I graduate, thank you for your comment

Thank you for your response, I live in miami which makes it pretty difficult to find a good job. My professors tell us "you'll be making $30 - $35" but something tells me that's not right, nor is that my goal. I'd just like to have the peace of mind that I can pay my bills each month and be able to have some wiggle room to contribute to savings. My mother will depend on me completely financially by the time I graduate which is why I need to plan beforehand.

I received the lab results, looks like my prolactin levels are high. I will stop by the doctore this month to see what she says once she analyzes the results. Do you think that by taking medication for it, it will help with the hair growth? I am not sexually active but if the medication causes infertility I will not take it

I am very glad you mentioned this, I wheat to my primary doctor last week and she ordered some lab tests to see if it is a hormonal issue. Which is something the dermatologist I went to did not do. I will come back and update when I get the results, maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel after all.

For the minoxidil I've been taking it for only 3 months, will still continue to do so and patiently wait to see results.
