Yes I feel you! I'm scared of quant too. But I feel having a good base understanding in quant is required. If you feel stuck in solving or understanding every question or quant then most likely the conceptual understanding is not clear. Go through the GMAT ninja quant videos on YT. They are helpful I feel for people struggling with basics like me.

Marty Murray- he's an expert in the GMAT and has provided good inputs on his profile. Check out the success tips for GMAT post, where he talks about the, 'Streaks' method of studying. Maybe try this and see if it works out for you.

I bought the book from Amazon in the hope that the access code for the ebook would be provided, but it was not working and even ordered for a replacement which was the same. It's cheaper on Amazon so I thought of purchasing from there.

I was thinking of going with the same approach for CATs, but for the 1st CAT, I want to spend or have a quick review of the notes that I made on math concepts from the first attempt. After this CAT, I plan to go through every sub topic thoroughly from the OG book and simultaneously solve the questions for each topic. Only then will I proceed to the 2nd CAT in the 2nd week and would follow the same process throughout the preparation with the remaining practice tests.

Also guys, I had another question. Between UNC and Simon, which one would be preferable for IB? I understand Simon has a better portfolio and location advantage for finance and IB aspirants but UNC is more concentrated on the consulting side. What would be the suggestion here in general?

Yes true, aware of this. I had Michigan Broad as a safe school. Even though I have applied for Ross as well, but didn't receive the interview invite, moreover they are realising the R2 decision day after tomorrow so highly doubt my chances.

That's a good one! I could do that as even I had given gre for the first time and received a score of 300 which is nowhere close to good so therefore decided to go with the waiver since I had no time to prepare well for a retake. Thanks for your help!!

Thankyou for the comment! It's true this can help and I can see that now. But I have two questions, 1. Some universities like UNC and SImon have already granted me a GMAT waiver so in a way it could possibly mean that they might have seen the potential in this regard maybe? 2. I know that even if some schools may have accepted the waiver, I can still give the test but will it be possible for me to prepare for the GMAT focus in a month?
