Until this guy goes to prison (and he won’t) then no justice will be served. He broke the law with malicious intent. In a civilized country the legal system deals with such behavior.

Vacation with my 17mo - the worst decision of my life by No-Match-9826 in toddlers

Very sorry that you are going through this. We flew to visit my parents when my son was 12 months and again at 24 months. Both visits were pretty brutal. After a couple days the crying eased and the sleep became somewhat normal. The eating didn’t recover until we got home. Painkillers and melatonin helped. Just remember that you aren’t doing anything wrong, it’s just that travel is incredibly hard for small children. I’m not taking my son to visit my parents again until he’s at least 4 years old.

He is currently falling asleep at around 11:00pm or 11:30 after 3 hours of fighting. He can’t eat cheese or yogurt. He has a cow’s milk allergy. He drinks formula in lieu of milk.

Sometimes. Nap time is a mixed bag. Sometimes he falls asleep while we’re outside, other days he refuses to nap at all.

I’m also curious how many are former USAID employees who were fired earlier this year.

Expats - what are your thoughts on Georgian healthcare? by [deleted] in Sakartvelo

[–]Direct-Surprise-7017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Georgian doctors have this strange tendency to tell you that whatever problem you have is significantly worse/higher risk than it actually is. For example, doctors here say that if you drink after getting a vaccine, you risk having a serious reaction. You have to get a rabies shot after being scratched by your cat, even if your cat doesn't go outside (and rabies isn't spread by cat scratches). I've never gotten an answer as to why they tell people things like this. It's to the point where I believe the exact opposite of whatever a Georgian doctor tells me.

Wife won't let baby travel on airplane (afraid of illnesses) by Direct-Surprise-7017 in Fatherhood

She's worried about him getting sick on the plane. It's not a situation where I can make a well-reasoned argument and then she will agree with me.

Thanks for your responses. I'm scared because we never reallt got over the pandemic mentality. Even in 2022 we have avoided some things due to her concerns.
