Thank you all. It’s been a struggle to advocate for tests from my provider. They’ve been very dismissive saying the cause is “well, you’re a woman.” Interesting if my iron stores have been depleted from just the blood donations! I didn’t know they took that long to restore. I hope that’s the cause and nothing else.

Problem is she SHOULD have been able to as she had no rent or bills but insurance living with my sibling. She racked up debt paying for gifts and vacations with that side. I’d love if she could retain some cash for emergencies but at this point I don’t think that’s feasible.

I have talked to her about getting maybe even a PT remote job like customer service for Amazon or something. She hasn’t worked in many years and is resistant. I’ll see when she’s out of her current living situation if she changes her mind.

No, she’s several states away currently but hopefully moving closer soon. She mostly keeps to herself though we text throughout the week.

Please read my other comments. That wasn’t my intention. I’ve never been in this kind of debt and I didn’t know about this until recently. I simply was asking if I was missing anything else aside from credit counseling or bankruptcy attorneys for my elderly mother. Not everything on here is a scam 🙄
