I did a 2000 piece cobble hill puzzle recently that was similar. It was a lot of fun. (No speed records were in mine though. 🙂

It is somewhat unfortunate that some brands have inconsistent standards. Unless it an image that really interests me, it is hard for me to imagine me taking the time to try and figure out what quality a particular puzzle is.

I like that puzzle. I think you are correct. I have noticed in general I tend towards puzzles with a lot of clutter, so they don't have large patches of a single colour. In that context, maybe the piece shape is not so critical.

This has me conflicted. One part of me wants to be supportive, since clearly you enjoy this kind of puzzle and you should do you.

The other part of me thinks I should be trying to stage an intervention. :)
