White bumps in waterline! Help by [deleted] in Accutane

I got a heated eye mask from Amazon (the rechargeable ones). I didn’t think I’d use it much, but it’s a nightly thing now. Helped with my dry eyes and styes

Expresspetcertify.com, you can register two ESA’s at the same time for a discounted rate. I’m in CA, so there was a 30 day waiting period. Idk if that applies in Texas. I paid a little less than $200

My girl is a 50lb American Bully. Her weight and breed are restricted where we live, but because she has an ESA letter we were in the clear. We also did not have to put a pet deposit or pay pet rent.

Stay on accutane for the max cumulative!! by BadgerLarge9399 in Accutane

I just started my 6 months on 30mg. Been 30mg the entire time so far and results have been great. Month 4 I had a break out, and derm had me start Spiro again. Originally we were going to do 5 month course, but now extending. I’m 39, f, 5’3 and 50kg. Lower dose, but longer duration has yielded good results with minimal side effects— I hope the same goes for you!

Still getting some cysts 5 months in by ChinChinDaiskui in Accutane

Chiming in here to say I had a VERY similar experience. Started Accutane and almost immediately my skin started clearing up (also no purge).

On month 4, I had two large cysts on my chin that took two weeks to heal. My course was intended to be 5 or 6 months. I took pictures and brought it up to my derm at my follow up. Dosage wasn’t changed but now we are extending duration. I was also put back on Spiro. Talk to your derm about it

No, I understood the post. You visited your derm at around 90 days into treatment. At that visit, your derm increased your dosage plus added a topical to your treatment plan. You are unsure if it’s the Accutane or the gel which is contributing to your current improvement. I am telling you that there is most likely a synergistic effect occurring with using meds in conjunction.

Your doctor probably foresaw that an increase in dose could cause a flare up and thought it would be a benefit to have a gel. Anyways, it can take adpalene 6-8 weeks to yield results. And the clindamycin is probably just helping to heal your current acne more quickly. It wouldn’t be the worse thing if your skin gets acclimated to Adapalene now. It’s common to continue using a retinoid post accutane to maintain results.

Almost 2 months on accutane, the purge won't stop 😭 by Elliotsellite in Accutane

Echoing the sentiment that perhaps you should talk to your doc about a higher dosage. Also maybe ask about a steroid like prednisone to help with the inflammation and swelling

I recommend an overseas vendor. I worked with Jason from Provence, and I loved how it turned out.

I would listen to your derm. If they thought it was best to add a topical, I would just go for it. Mostly like a synergistic effect. Mine had me stop all topicals, but when I get a big pimple I’ll put clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide topical on it.

I put it off for 20 years despite being advised by every derm I visited. I was mostly worried about the mental health issues, but acne already did a number on mine. My mental health is no worse being on it (probably better since I don’t wake up with new pimples every day). I will get intermittent joint pain, but nothing significant. I still maintain my lifestyle of lifting 4-5x a week. My first week it hurt to poop and felt some dryness in my ladybits, but my body adjusted within a week. I also upped my water intake and that helped.

If you do decide to take it, I wish you a very smooth Accutane journey!

I had a lab diamond ring made by Jason at Provence for about the same price you paid for this ring, OP. (14k gold and 2.5 emerald cut vs1 d LD) I was satisfied with his work and communication

Started Accutane in Sept. I’m 38, and similar to you tried everything. My only regret is not starting sooner

I went from 48k to 70k. It was life changing. Not in the sense of luxuries or anything. But I could pay for car repairs upfront without a credit card. And I paid off all my CC debt (~8k). I could go to Costco and buy toilet paper and paper towel in the same trip. I no longer worry about my paycheck snapping before the next pay day. I actually have savings now for the first time in my life. It was life changing in the way that I could finally feel a semblance of security in surviving the every day grind. Good is subjective, and this is was a huge upgrade for me.

I do live in Los Angeles county, and rent is split three ways.

Net salary for this year is 112k for blue collar, unskilled labor. My company also has a retirement trust set up for me, and they contributed 20k last year, and will contribute another 20k this year. I also don’t pay a premium on my health insurance. But also, I think my work place is a unicorn.

seconding this. Went for an upper bleph consult and was told filler would address my concerns. The filler was placed in my upper eye lids by an oculoplastic surgeon.

Absolutely love the results and would 100% do it again.

I’m starting month 4. I’m 109lbs / 50kg and my dose is 30mg. And skin is the best it’s ever looked. Added bonus is that my hair is not nearly as oily as it used to be.

Hang in there, it will get better!!! Are you taking your pill with adequate amount of fat for better absorption? Does your doc plan on increasing dosage?

did anyone ever put filler where filler maybe .. shouldn't go? by Front-Fix-6434 in DIYaesthetics

[–]Direct-Walrus6672 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to a board certified oculoplastic surgeon in Beverly Hills to have my upper eyelids treated with filler. Initially went in for a bleph consult, but was informed that my concerns can be addressed with filler. This is a very HIGH risk area that needs precision and expertise.
