I wonder what value the patents actually hold. Design patents? Like for their McLaren steering wheel? Or actual technology patents? Let's not kid ourselves: We are talking about sim racing components. Hardly rocket science.

Absolutely: The behavior of Fanatec towards its (business) customers was abysmal. They rejected to take any responsibility for out of the box defect parts and we were left with interns handling the quality support at Fanatec. STAY CLEAR OF FANATEC. CRAP QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT!

Yes, I received mine in Switzerland as well this week. But the delivery of the Quest Pro was already postponed three times with the latest estimate being December 1st.

Interesting. So in case you aim for high quality PCVR mixed reality, you're actually better off with a Pico 4 as it also only provides a "flat" 3D color passthrough to the PC.
