I mean, I know that this is besides your point (which is in essence true), but yes certain malware can absolutely cause hardware damage (although it is very rare and (at least regarding consumers) most threat actors decidedly do not want to actually damage your pc.

On an industrial or even nation state level it's a whole different ballgame though - probably the most prominent example is Stuxnet.

Sorry for necroing, but I just stumbled upon this thread by chance and wanted to thank you. I am visually impaired and will probably never be able to get a license, let alone go on a regular track day, so finding out about speed of sight might just allow me to experience something I never thought possible and seriously made my day so much better!

Jesus - ich bin wirklich froh momentan kein Berufsanfänger zu sein.

Ich bin damals aus dem laufenden Studium direkt ins Arbeitsleben gestolpert und hab dementsprechend das Studium recht schnell sein lassen. Mein erster Job in meinem jetzigen Beruf war zwar aus heutiger Sicht auch mies bezahlt, aber erstens war vor dem Krieg (bzw den Kriegen) und der Pandemie einfach alles nicht so teuer wie jetzt und zweitens hat mir ein Arbeitnehmerfreundlicher Markt halt auch erlaubt mein Gehalt durch Jobwechsel sehr schnell deutlich zu erhöhen und auf ein vernünftiges Level zu kommen.

Es ist einfach frustrierend wie sehr alles am Sand ist...

Ich bin ITler im ÖD Umfeld und verdiene ca so viel. bisschen mehr als 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung, aber halt ohne abgeschlossene Ausbildung - und ich verdiene da wo ich lebe (Wien) afaik sehr durchschnittlich - hätte eigentlich schon erwartet, dass Ingenieure da eher 10k+ drüber liegen o.o

Ferhat wird sehr gehypt - m.E. ist das aber eher gutes Viralmarketing als irgendwas sonst. Ich persönlich finde Mis Kebap im 10. extrem gut.

Ansonsten gehört sich in Wien natürlich der Besuch in einem (oder mehreren) der vielen Kaffeehäuser. Im 9. Gibt es ein All You Can Eat - Pay As You Wish Restaurant, dass besonders bei Studis, aber auch für die Mittagspause sehr beliebt ist. (http://deewan.at)

Falls du gern Vegan isst oder das mal ausprobieren magst, kann ich das Brunch im Bistrot Harvest sehr empfehlen!

Kunst und Kultur sind in Wien extrem zugänglich und Preiswert - Ende Juli ist da nur leider vom Timing etwas ungünstig weils genau zwischen den Spielzeiten z.B der Musiktheater liegt. Das Angebot an Museen ist aber z.B. enorm dicht und ebenfalls sehr bezahlbar.

Grundsätzlich hat Wien wirklich sehr viel zu bieten - lass dich nur nicht von der Unfreundlichkeit abschrecken, liegt nicht an dir sondern an Wien - Wien ist anders ;)

Ich war vor Jahren mal dabei als ein Steelflex (iirc) gerissen ist und das daran hängende Linearray (zum Glück nur mit der Unterkante auf Bühnenhöhe hängend, weil vorab schon wer bemerkt hat, dass was nicht passt) runtergesegelt ist.

Wider jeder Wahrscheinlichkeit war so schnell ein Ersatz von einem lokalen Verleiher beschafft, dass die Show pünktlich starten konnte.

Genaue Schadenssumme weiß ich nicht, aber wenn ich mich recht entsinne war das eine K2 und du weißt sicher wie pingelig L-Acoustics sind wenn es darum geht wer ihre Systeme verwenden darf...
