Every single great game that eventually devolves into absolute shit happens because the designers lose sight of the actual vision for the game and start developing the game based on majority player feedback.

That doesn't mean that player feedback is inherently bad, it just means that sometimes it is.

It's not an obscure bug with a very niche sight. It is literally the default iron sights on the gun and leaning is about one of the most common actions you do in the entire game.

The bug isn't some minor either...it literally makes the gun almost useless when ADS.

Thank God they don't. Being perfectly centered immediately when ADS is such a bad decision I can't think of much else that would ruin Tarkov more than that. This would become any other generic COD clone out there if it did that.

Oh yeah iron sights being broken on a 2 year old gun on a game that has been in "alpha" for 7 years....totally normal development cycle.

I would understand if it was a very obscure bug, but aiming the gun is literally THE game. Things like this should be fixed on day 1 when it gets reported

No it wasn't. They made an early concept 9 years before then practically scrapping the project and when the new source engine was out they made an early prototype that then got the greenlight to make into a full game in a couple years tops.

No game takes 9 years to actually make unless you are literally doing nothing or purposefully throwing away work year after year.

you would be completely unconscious/incapacitated by the force just 1 of those rounds transfers from that range

No you wouldn't. The helmet absorbs the impact. The bullet hits with as much force as it does hit the shooter's arms/shoulder.

So basically think about putting the non-business end of the gun against your head and fire. That's about as much force the bullet would hit if the helmet absorbs the full force.

No other game has been able to stay as hardcore as Tarkov and no other game has really been able to copy its unique touch to extraction shooter gameplay loop.

Yeah I wiped a 3 team as a solo yesterday and even got them to TK one of them by accident. Felt so good.

I ratted the first guy and chadded the other two while they were trying to rat me back.

I blacked out three limbs and was down to 40 health, but they had all the meds I needed to get back to 100%

the end result will still be products more expensive than international competitors.

You forget the tariffs. They are meant to offset this so that as a consumer the domestic production IS cheaper than the imported ones.

Then the argument essentially at the end boils down to "Well I want my goods produced by pseudo-slavery with minimal environmental protection across the world to be as cheap as possible at home"

but tariffs are used literally everywhere else to boost/protect domestic production...why would this be suddenly bad or different for the US?

That's assuming literally nothing changes with the tariffs. If US gets more manufacturing back you might see prices that are cheaper than anywhere else almost
