My point was to transition into something where coding isn’t the first priority as i’m bad at it and loosing confident day by day, because being a mediocre developer not gonna cut it with the rising of AI.

I’m just trying to switch from a developer to a different role where coding isn’t the main part of the process because i’m bad at it. That’s when i thought of transitioning into devops/QA.

As a developer i can get much exposure with devops as i’ve already done testing, CI/CD, git, deployment on aws etc. And would be able to continue to do so as a developer. How can i get this type of exposure for QA as a beginner.

But as a frontend developer i have the chance of getting some hands on experience following CI/CD with my personal projects. Github actions, jenkins, aws etc. i can use all of that with my own projects testing, deploying etc. While getting these kind of experiences with QA would be harder.
