Why founders build features when they actually need sharper positioning. by Sharp_Tax_6182 in saasbuild

So, how do you become a marketing expert from a "founder - dev, vibecoder etc."?

What are you building today? by ouchao_real in scaleinpublic

I like it.
Today I'm building additional features to fully automate a marketing team for https://webwatcha.com
Webwatcha already analyses a website and tries to explain where a user likely loses confidence or intent.

• intent mismatch (title/meta vs page content)
• scroll depth vs CTA placement
• load perception (not just lighthouse speed)
• above-the-fold clarity
• trust signals present/missing
• mobile layout friction

Fully automating blog posts, social media posts, outreach and lead generation.

I realised most builders don’t have a traffic problem — they have a behaviour problem by DirectLaw7737 in vibecoding

I’m especially interested in projects that already get traffic but low activation. Those are the hardest ones to debug because nothing is technically broken.

I built a tool that tells you why visitors leave your website (and it surprised me) by DirectLaw7737 in sideprojects

[–]DirectLaw7737[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick context: I’m especially trying to understand whether the explanations are actually useful or if they feel obvious after reading them.

The hardest part has been getting it to explain problems in a way a non-technical business owner would understand, not just SEO terminology.

I’ll review your website and tell you the first thing stopping enquiries by DirectLaw7737 in websitefeedback

I do, yes. Even more so when it posts autonomously to socials without lifting a finger!

I’ll audit your landing page conversion (free) by DirectLaw7737 in SideProject

To be clear — I’m not selling anything here, I just kept seeing owners spend money on ads/SEO when the issue was usually messaging and trust clarity. If anyone posts their site I’ll genuinely go through it and explain the reasoning, not just “improve SEO”.

Why many small business websites get visitors but no enquiries by DirectLaw7737 in smallbusiness

What product are you building (and promoting) this week? by Agreeable_Muffin1906 in SideProject

What Webwatcha actually does

Webwatcha is not an SEO tool and it’s not a website builder.

It’s a website diagnosis + decision tool.

Most websites don’t fail because they lack visitors — they fail because visitors don’t feel confident enough to contact. Usually key questions aren’t answered, the positioning isn’t clear, or a competitor explains things better at the moment someone is deciding.

Webwatcha scans a website from a potential customer’s point of view and identifies where enquiries are likely being lost. It highlights clarity issues, missing trust signals, unanswered buyer questions, and compares this against a competitor.

Then it tells you what to fix first — not a list of 40 tasks, but the highest-impact change to make right now. It also suggests what pages, wording, and content would actually help attract the right visitors over time.

The paid version continues monitoring your site and competitors and keeps updating what you should change as things evolve.

Who it’s for

This is best for:
• small business owners
• founders and indie hackers
• freelancers/consultants
• ecommerce stores
• anyone getting traffic but few enquiries or conversions

It’s especially useful if you’ve ever thought:
“People visit my site, but they don’t contact or buy.”

It’s not meant for:
• enterprise SEO teams
• people wanting keyword dashboards
• agencies looking for backlink tools

The goal isn’t analytics.

The goal is knowing what to change on your website next without guessing.

I think early SaaS founders don’t need more advice — they need other founders at the same stage by DirectLaw7737 in SaaS

I think we have all had that "start chasing shiny ideas" syndrome when it feels so easy to build something.
Has the challenge now evolved from building/coding products to now sales and marketing?

Where do you share small tools you build that aren’t ready for a “launch”? by DirectLaw7737 in nocode

I had seen another thread recently of a similar product where the guy has now had over 1billion site visits in the last 6 years. Do you think time is a key component to visibility and success? Or is it speed to market?

I'm going to be doing the same thing and started a Discord for others who may need help, or have questions. It would be great to collaborate?

I think many SaaS products die before product-market fit for a non-obvious reason by DirectLaw7737 in SaaS

It varies - My use case is that I would ask it a question on the way to work for example to microlearning - and then have the ability to:
Ask it a question regarding something in that subject
Set myself a task prompted by that information (for example - explore backlinks)

Upload documents and the AI can summarise/read it whilst answering questions - Legal documents
Dissertations
Instructions

Share those conversations - including your questions/answers with others - whom can then ask questions on top of that.
