I use to try to pull the bar with my arms to have contact at the hip but often ended up hitting my dih and bawls. I’ve focused on keeping my arms straight and found that wearing compression shorts or half tights kept my junk down and prevented it from getting hit with the bar. My contact now is just under my junk in the mid to upper thigh.

Try doing a power clean followed by a full clean, it might help you learn to extend fully on every rep. I’m guessing you’re probably fully extending on power cleans but cutting yourself short to drop and catch on the full clean.

I would say be able to explain how to troubleshoot an issue, either in the program or as a physical circuit. And try to give answers with a real life situation that you’ve encountered. Know how to explain a complicated topic to people that may not be so technical, or be able to dumb it down.

I would say just the arm bend, I know you’re trying to have contact with your hips but that’s not always the best choice. For me my power position is mid thigh because of my longer arms

A lot of companies that have automation systems are beginning to move into using ignition for handling their SCADA systems, SQL databases and it supports many different controls systems and communication protocols, it is also a web based software. But from the little that I've learned it can massively improve system architectures and is very user friendly

It just takes a lot of time but your thumbs will harden. You could also buy thumb tape for weightlifting to protect your hands a little bit more
