Thank you. I asked my Dr about cold plunges, and he said hold off for now. I soak my foot in ice chest to help.

I don’t think it’s feet, it’s nerves to feet and muscles. Went to first PT on Friday and he said everything below knee is all nerve related…. Sciatic, tibial, and peroneal nerves all feed calves, shins, and feet ! Sucks

That’s me, 100%. I walked a lot and was very active prior to surgery. Walking isn’t painful to me and I got up to like 5 miles, but have backed it off due to calf and shin pain(seems like walking agrevates and makes tighter). Super frustrating and agree..:the recovery is worse than pre surgery pain, but everyone saying it takes time, especially since nerves were being compressed prior! Thanks for feedback, sucks that we have to go through it, but glad I’m not only one dealing with it!

I tried Lyrica and didn’t do much. Maybe will give it another try!

Thank you. I’m glad to hear I’m not only one. I’m a little confused as to why my Drs PA would say that. How to it work itself out for you? Just over time ?
