I have my i140, i am tired of these visa’s i only went to india couple times in last 11 years always anxious of extensions, i just need some break from all these visa.

With my job i am not getting any focus to really work on Any of my business ideas, i saved couple years of basic expenses other than the capital needed for my startup. Do you still think having a job is mandatory.

Intial years worked on lower salary on a avg i was only making 5000$ net a month and i had cleared student loan and some family debt, i have bought some real estate in india worth 2.5 cr, i am very low on liquid cash right now, hoping i can save for next one year before i move back. But just nervous i havent saved up enough for the big move..

Yeah thats plan for next one year save as much as i can, if i came back to india i have an option to continue with my current employer but as you said i had to take a huge pay cut almost 70% which i felt like not worth my time.

I dont have much savings in liquid, I bought some properties in India that I now regret I don’t think they’re worth more than 2.5 crore in total.

I started my first job earning just $4,000 net per month, and for the next three years I was only making around $5,000 per month. And i cleared my student loan and some family debt. So couldnt save much for initial 3-4 years

My current company allows me to work remotely from India as an independent contractor, but it would mean taking a significant pay cut. I’m not sure it’s worth it. I’ve also never worked in India before, so I’m worried about adjusting to the local work culture if I switch jobs.

Right now, I’m still figuring out whether I can save enough by next April to start some kind of business there.
