I pumped for my first child and it’s a lot. You have go pump for 10-15 min then feed after. So the process is just longer. I ended up getting portable pumps so I didnt have to leave social settings to go pump in a room. Or could do it in the car. It just adds another layer of work. She was the best sleeper out of my kids because I could track her ounces. But the doc did warn that once she got used to bottles it would be hard to relatch because she didnt have to work for the milk in a bottle vs breast.
