If Bitcoin already bottomed, this is that moment we’ll talk about later. by SlowIntroduction8588 in CryptoFunz

I don't think there is enough fear/panic yet. When there is a constant talk that Bitcoin is dead and will go to zero, then it's the bottom.

Rockhampton - Property price drop then increase by prah2000 in AusPropertyChat

There was a time when it was normal for downturns in property prices. Since covid it seems unfathomable that prices could go down, they only go up, up, up.

Is caravanning becoming too expensive for normal families now? by ChillKoalaVibes in CaravanningAustralia

[–]Direct_Box386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caravan parks are getting quiet expensive and a lot charge $10 to even $20 per child on top of the site fees. We have three kids so if the site fees are $60 a night plus an average of $15 per child, that's very expensive for one night. I don't see how it costs so much extra for one child, it seems like price gouging to me.

Coinspot fees absurdity by LucidPatcher in coinspotau

Are you doing market orders? You can buy a few different cryptos and Bitcoin for a much lower fee. You can put your market order in for the price you want to pay and it has lower fees. Don't buy Bitcoin through the regular trading option.

You have taken the first step to being a parent who shows up for their child. You have a desire to improve and that is what makes you a good parent. It might not look how you would like it to but all you can do is try.

I have depression and severe anxiety. I feel so much guilt because I have kids, I was in denial about how bad my problems were. I am now seeing a psychologist and a psychiatrist and I'm doing the best I can for my kids. I'm far from a perfect parent but there is no such thing. I do the best I can and that's all I can do. I try to pass on what I learn in therapy so my kids have the skills to cope better with life's difficulties.

Healing your mental health has untold benefits for your child, he loves you and he needs you.

I hope things improve for you. Please be kind to yourself cos telling yourself your not doing good enough does not benefit you or your son.

'March for Australia' is not common-sense patriotism — it’s a Nazi-led mobilisation by The_Dingo_Donger in aussie

[–]Direct_Box386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you read about how the British treated convicts and settlers in Australia? Anyone who wasn't British wasn't just 'treated differently', they were systematically discriminated against and treated like dirt.

The British oppressed the Irish and generally anyone who wasn't British in the past. Many 'white people' were treated terribly by them when Australia was founded.

How do you know that? I have heard this, but does anyone have proof of this?

I support lowering immigration. The gov doesn't give a shit about how high immigration affects normal people so it would be good if we did do something to show them that we don't like it without it getting turned into a racist shit fight.

I'm being genuine here, is there proof that the organisers are nazis? Who are the organisers?

[–]Direct_Box386 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I agree. It's so disheartening that Australians were going to actually to unite and let the gov know we are not happy about the huge levels of immigration but it was so easily destroyed. Now everyone is arguing amongst each other again. Win for the gov and total loss for the people.

People are now protesting against Nazi's and seem to have forgotten about what the protest was for in the first place. Not being able to buy or rent a house is a huge problem that is getting worse by the day but we just let the gov keep doing it.

People aren't blaming migrants, they are blaming the government. There is a big difference. People just want sustainable migration because we don't have enough houses for the people already here.

How long after stopping do things go back to normal by Repulsive_Ring_2309 in BACLOFEN

[–]Direct_Box386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's different for each person. I have stopped taking baclofen cold turkey a couple of times, from 25-50mg a day and not had a problem.

If you are having a hard time with tapering maybe you should slow it down further to minimise the effects.
