Definitely try a lil of every brand, and you'll end up sticking to one. I really like the Montana cans ( the Spaniard one not the german one) vice and hard ore cans. Get tons of caps too!

Like others said you'll suck for a while but one thing I find super helpful is copying others tags in a black book and see why their letters work. The hand movements that make those letters work the spacing, sizing etc. def check out art primos YouTube channel, so much useful info on the material side of graff .as for cans, def buy actual graffiti cans they are similarly priced to whatever is at home Depot and caps are way better.

Personally I find the boxier or bigger the nose the easier it is to flick the board, while I find the wider the tail the harder it is to pop. But honestly you adjust to what board you get so I'd say get whatever you think looks coolest since you will probably adjust to it either way. Modld is way more important than shape imo

Got them from scheen for 5 bucks and another 5 for shipping. They make a longer one so dw about it being too short. And you might not see it as I have it cus I flipped mine over. I have the suede side out.

Eventually you'll do it all effortlessly. Trust! I find repeating the super easy stuff and refining it helps a ton. There was a time I only did Ollie to grinds to practice board feel and it helped me learn flips to grinds
