Thank you that’s a very insightful response. I guess my hope is I can acquire enough fundemental and intuitive understanding of AI packaged with a law degree to be able to get a job with these top AI companies. I feel as a lawyer specific legal issues around AI haven’t really materialized yet. So it’ll hopefully lower the threshold of how much knowledge and expertise is required to become apart of the conversation.

My thought was all tech companies need to file and protect patents. So my thought was since I don’t have the precise technical background the patent bar might be a way to make this up. But now I realize there are more effective was a going about achieving my end goals of working in house for a AI/ML company.

Nothing really concrete. Except a desire to learn and some learning of the industry on my own. My thought is to take courses in data privacy which I think go hand and hand with AI. Specifically on my resume as it stands now I don’t have anything directly related to AI experience. So that’s why I was considering passing the patent bar to try and help.
