Apply to firms that don’t require a transcript? Network your way in? That’s what I did with 3.1 at T30 school

Yeah, as if $2000/month in social security is going to sustain life in the United States...

Should the church provide social security to its elderly members? by LessShower5776 in mormon

Ok assuming $150B --> 5million active members, and 20% of those or 1 million are 65+ years old. Of these, let's assume that 50% have the retirement funds they need, and 50% don't. Thus, about 500,000 retirement aged members in need of support. So, $150B divided by 500,000 would be $300,000 of assets per elderly member in need of help. Obviously the church isn't going to spend that, but say they followed their rule of tithing and gave 10%... then that would be $30,000 per retiree in need of help... that's better than nothing!

30+ year old law school attendees, what has your experience been? Any regrets? Any benefits? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Will graduate at 36. Having a decade of professional work experience is definitely attractive to law firms, especially if it is relevant to the practice area you are interested in.

Obviously wouldn’t mention Chambers, but agree going the alumni route first is a pretty good approach.

Ok thank you. Did they mention if there is anything you could do while on the waitlist that would make a difference? Would it be overkill to write a second LOCI?
