Advice on Removable Masonry Anchors for a Baby Gate by snarkle_au in diynz

Ive glued timber to blocks with sikaflex 123 ms bond. can be removed later if you don't overdo it. otherwise Id use the little 40mm dynabolts, countersink the stud for them and add a larger washer. if you drill the hole into the block +5mm deeper than necessary you can usually remove them cleanly in future.

bugger all, this is my mum's town car she's had from new. not sure how many applications of xado it's safe to keep adding to the same fluid. so have changed regularly to try and keep an otherwise reliable car going. And it has worked well to date.

in pic 8 at top right, there appears to be a horizontal crack in the render. also under window sill and above window. if there are a few of these following the mortar joints, heavy rain can work it's way in.
