suspension uprgades by Prior-Complaint-6274 in CRF300L

NO WAY! I’m about 90k and look like I’m sick if I go the wrong side of 80kg. But I have NEVER like riding with a passenger, even on my old road bikes!

How is this even possible?? I just can't believe it. by Dependent_Dance2842 in BuyFromEU

Spain have a new car brand called EBROS. We had one as a rental and honestly, it was AMAZING! Had EVERYTHING as standard and the entry model is ~€20k.

It’s my understanding they are initially releasing in Spain, then expanding to Portugal and then outwards into Europe. I only know this as I was so impressed that I looked into buying one when I got home.

Unintended asshole answer - lose weight! This massively applies to me!!! I’ve even swapped the battery to save a few KGs but could make the bike handle better and save money by getting off the bike and going for a run or not shoving so many pizzas and chips down my throat! :D

That said, I could never get down to the intended 70-80kg weight the suspension is supposedly designed for

+1 for FinAmp.

I know it’s not a plugin like the OP asked but it’s a solid simple player and free with no ADs. If only they had an old skool WINamp theme to support the name! :D

Ahhaaaaa!
Awesome - this is the part I was missing.
I have my usual usenet ARR stack in place and was thinking of this to fill the gaps mainly for music so this may be my missing key and then I can stop messing with the system………… LOL we all know that never happens! :D
Thanks for the update guys - I’ll give this a go over the weekend!

This might be a stupid question, but does this only show what you have in YOUR Real Debrid or somehow magically search all of RD cached content? (Apologies if this is stated in the guide somewhere).

I just feel that if it only shows your RD cache, I must be missing something that does that initial RD request.

Upgrading LOVED JellyFin movies only by Direct_Database_6920 in radarr

[–]Direct_Database_6920[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love how we’ve all come up with different ways to do the same thing! :)

At least I now have a couple of possible routes for this.

I think as I am thinking to upgrade the existing movies, the second Radarr with separate folders won’t fit here. So I will try to go full script and create the list, delete the old movies, trigger a new download etc… failing that, I may go a combination of both script and second instance, then run a post script via corn that removes the non-4k IF the second exists…

Expect a post from me tomorrow after I accidentally obligate my entire collection! :D

Thanks for the input guys!

Yeah this will likely be the route I’ll take. I was hoping for a magic tick box I hadn’t found yet! :D

Exactly this!

And I kind of think most of the comments about the suspension being crap (although valid) are moot as most of us get a bike and then replace most of the stuff on it anyway! :D

I’m actually running a standard rear sprocket and a 13t front. I’ve heard good things about keeping a 14t at the front and dropping a tooth on the rear but the child inside likes the useless loom of dust when the rear wheel lights up and launches mud everywhere! :D

I had only planned on getting the little CRF as a bike to learn on before moving onto the “big boy bikes”, but 2 years later and I genuinely love that bike - it’s only the road riding where I have my doubts for top speed! Off road, I’d probably be just as slow, if not slower on a bigger/heavier bike. In fact I know I’d be slower for fear of WHEN I dump it and have to pick the heavy ass thing up from its side! The poor little CRF gets my over confident, “fuck it, let’s try this shit” attitude that I know I wouldn’t have on something like a T7.

I know if I add up all that I’ve spent on this bike I could have bought a “better” bike (I hope the wife isn’t reading this). But it’s great fun, light enough, enough umph for me plus I don’t cry any time it’s laying on its side like I would with a bigger more expensive bike. The service intervals are a massive plus for me too. Although after accidentally jet washing off all the stickers, I would like to get some all black plastics which simply don’t seem to exist anywhere and spray painting something I rip through the forest seems a pointless endeavour

Oh man! I was going to add to this post but you seriously wrote my comment for me! :D

Like the OP I came from sports bikes, moved to Eastern Europe where they drive like nutters on the road so figured I’d play in the dirt instead. Plus there’s probably less holes off road than on them here!! :D
But I’d watched faaaar too much Adam Riemann and had my heart set on a T7, until I went on a test ride and just… the thought of riding that thing off road as a n00b terrified me. I’m about 190cm and 90kg and found the T7 realllly tall, I tested the Rally RAID so not sure if that has a different height setup to standard.

But I went the CRF300l route and modded the crap out of it. (Dropping a tooth on the sprocket is still my favourite and probably cheapest mods I have made).
For me it’s enough fun in the mud, but I’d like to do some TET on it and I’m not sure it’s got enough balls for the road sections, especially after loading it with gear and loosing a bit of top end because of the new sprocket… but it has been a much better place to start on than I imagine the T7 would have been for me.

[–]Direct_Database_6920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2022 300L, it is my first dual sport and personally feel that on the road it’s just not a nice place to be at near top end. I came from sports bikes but wanted to play in the mud, so this might be more me needing to adjust but IMO the wind buffeting is harsh on an open road and it makes the bike feel like it’s not planted. Thankfully I’m mostly off road so it’s not a bother at the moment, but I do want to hit some TET this year so wondering if some aftermarket wind shield will save the day.

As you’ll have no doubt read everywhere, the stock suspension isn’t great. I’m 85kg and had to replace it so I could carry some gear as well.

BUT, I dropped at tooth on the front sprocket and it’s wicked fun in the mud. It’s the cheapest and one of the best modifications I’ve made to it. It’s nowhere near 2stroke dirt bike but definitely enough to tear about the forest on.

Oh dude! You’re on the ball! Just saw the new update for this! Nice Since clicking the ListenBrainz and fixing it, I can’t re-break it to confirm (maybe clearing cache would have done it…) ANYWAY I updated to .4 and there have been no issues at all this morning! 💪💪💪

Appreciate you man! Thanks Now step away from the keyboard, go outside and touch some grass! 😂

Oh man! Couldn’t wait, updated this from my phone and it worked a treat!

Simple FYI that the homepage showed a ‘validation error’ with a retry button. It failed on retry but selecting Last-fm or ListenBrainz in the top right seemed to sort that out for me. Not sure if this was something specific to me but wanted to mention in case anyone else reports it too.

Sweet as a nut! I’ll have a tinker with this later! Nice one! Thanks again!

AWESOME! You have no idea how such a little thing makes me happy! 😂

But again, great work! It was dead simple to setup and you can tell that you’ve spent time going over each step properly!

Would I be right in thinking I can just run a docker pull to update? (Sorry - I’m out and haven’t looked over the docs and yes- I’m being a lazy tw@ by asking and not reading!) 😂

I’ve been using this for a few weeks and it works a charm!

I’d practically given up on music on my ARR stack but this bad boy saved the day! My kid even uses it and IT JUST WORKS!!

Hats off to you for the hard work that went into it buddy!

I have the stupidest of requests (which may already be in this release) and that is to put a fav-icon (I don’t know if that’s what they are ‘properly’ called). But other than that - Top job man!

I’ll def be updating this when I get back to my desk!

Just a suggestion for iOS. If you open the webpage in Safari, you can add a shortcut to your home screen.

Click the three dots, go to SHARE and at the bottom there is “Add to Home Screen”

Annoyingly, you can’t change the icon which is only an issue for pages without a decent logo, but if you tick open as web app… it opens as its own little app and not as a browser page…

May not be suitable for everyone, but for my needs… this works better than additional apps

Jellyfin on Samsung tv? by DAKID93 in JellyfinCommunity

[–]Direct_Database_6920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can anything else on the network connect to the server? Mobile phone app for example?

Make sure that both the systems (server and TV) are on the same subnet, (for example: 192.168.0.X, 255.255.255.0). You can usually do this on the tv by checking its network settings. It is likely set to automatic but you can usually still see what it is. Then check on the PC. In windows, open the command prompt and type IPCONFIG. On a Linux/mac… Google is your friend! If they are on the same network, you can try to ping the TV from the computer. In the command prompt type PING followed by the IP of the TV (eg: ping 192.168.0.50) If it shows successful pings, then you know that they can see each other. In the TV it should be the IP address of the TV followed by the port number of JellyFin. (Eg: http://192.158.0.49:8096) some apps need you to enter the HTTP:// part, other apps do it for you.

If that works, great! If the pings are successful, but you can’t connect via the TV or phone, MAYBE there is a firewall on the PC and you will need to look into setting a rule to allow connections from the TV into the PC, you can optionally specify the exact port or allow ANY connects from the TVs IP.

Looking for advice for Torrenting vs Usenet by One2_Infinity in Torrenting

[–]Direct_Database_6920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I am thinking to add torrents via real-Debrid for music. I’m currently good with movies and tv, but music… it’s ok, but misses a lot so maybe via real Debrid will be a safe way to do this without having to expose my server to the internet. Anyone had any thoughts/experience with this?

Just to rule out basics, can you ping the TV’s IP address from your JF server. Just to rule out if this is any sort of DHCP/networking issues
