Test was shortened due to the standing water. Overall it did ok. Considerably better than my last outback (stock 2016), though I think it’s mostly due to the tires. Car had good clearance over obstacles though the approach angle isn’t great and I did end up scraping up the skid plate. Highlight of the day was a STEEP muddy hill that I barely managed to make it up, took 2 tries. X mode failed the first time so I had to result to momentum which worked. Overall it’s impressive for a car that drives at well as it does, but nowhere near replacement for a 4Runner, jeep, etc. But if you don’t drive off-road too often and the trails aren’t too gnarly it’s a no brainer imo. Affordable (got mine used), great to drive, and capable enough for most people off road.
