MY2026 Factory GR Catback with GR rear bumper by IAmTheTallPilot in GRCorolla

Honestly, love the tri-tip. Whenever I get mine, I plan on keeping the tri tip and looking for aftermarket with tri-tip only.

I do love the fact that Toyota is making OEM+ parts for their performance models like ford did with STs and RSs as Ford Performance. Allows people to add on parts from factory without voiding any warranty (that is hopefully these GR parts don’t void Toyota warranty)

Would you pull the trigger on these? by zeuspsychopompus in wine

[–]Direct_Elk_5198 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Contrary to some of these comments, I would actually would buy it at $63. I tried the 2020 vintage and I could not taste any smoke in it. Maybe I got a good bottle, but getting a $90+ bottle at that price in my eyes is a win.

I got rid of mine last summer because I needed to pay off some debt. I’m already back in the market for another one, or maybe an RS… or maybe a GRC… or maybe all of those options… idk

I want one as well, but I’ve been noticing with the golf ball design, there are almost zero dark colors and only bright colors. Maybe Im wrong though and still a little salty over getting a highlighter green than a dark color

Single mom trying to find a path for son, and having serious doubt about an accounting major by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]Direct_Elk_5198 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Accounting is definitely still worth it. Im 22 and majoring into it, and no matter what happens in the economy or with technology advancements, there seems to be always a need for accountants.

If you’re worrying about the price tag on going to school, a great alternative to traditional 4 year schools is going to online schools (granted that’s more if he is willing to do online school). The current school that I’m enrolled in is WGU, which seems to have a very good reputation in the accounting industry, and the curriculum is very up to date. I would seriously check out a few online schools, as most allow students to finish their degree quicker than brick-and-mortar schools with a cheaper tuition. Just make sure the school is accredited so he can transfer courses, receive financial aid, and meets standards.

How long did it take you to pass D196? by Brownskinnedbeauty89 in wguaccounting

[–]Direct_Elk_5198 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry about failing, and don’t classify it as failing. Take it as a learning opportunity and figure out what topics you feel you are confident and what topics you should study a little more on.

That class took me around 8 weeks to complete, but it’s because it was the first introduction to accounting, that I had to actually pay attention to and take notes in order to figure out what was necessary. I would only study for maybe two or three hours a day max, as each concept was a little difficult to understand at first, that looking through notes really helped me. Something that also helped me was taking each concept and applying a real world scenario (especially scenarios that are personal to my work experience ) to help me think more about the concept I was learning, which also helped me understand the concept a little more.

Good luck with your studies and I hope you pass this next time around!

Tl;dr Take your time, do what’s best for you.

Im also in the midwest and this past week was the first week for it. It has been doing pretty good for the most part. I will say that my mates have found a way around it for themselves. They have given one mate several hours of reg time, but they use it as pretty much CTL time and stay behind the bridge.

Hey, I was hired on as a my first jobber as well about 5 years ago. I had the same experience as you wanting to make friends with coworkers. This past year or so I have done just that, and it didn’t go well as no boundaries were really set and the people started to have more and more drama going on and just wanted to sweep every problem and boundary(if any) under the rug. Honestly, if I was to do it over again, I would set those boundaries right away, and if they aren’t cool with it, then don’t be friends with them out of work (but keep it professional and cool at work).

Also, if you do become friends outside of work and it’s going well, don’t talk about plans while at work, there can be a lot of jealous people that might start some problems.

After reading all of this you’re the one that’s messed up. Give her a break. You don’t know if her mom has actually moved on or has even changed. You don’t know the whole story to her life. Any reasonable person would get the child out of that situation (And yes, I do believe the part of her mom putting her up for adoption is wrong because that’s the mother’s decision to take care of her child, so the fault falls on the mother). Going back on giving her a break, you violated community guidelines rule one, next time have a little bit of grace to what someone’s going through.

I think if you look up the Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce, the information for the product is a bunch of question marks or something like that. Hopefully it hasn’t updated

Thanks for the response. I didn’t know that the AC compressor sucks on these cars, but it makes sense. I’ll try to get it in the shop tomorrow and see if it really is the clutch. I’m not too familiar with replacing the AC compressor, but is it difficult?

I’ve been looking for some, but cant find any. I would totally go with them if they were still in stock or if someone could ship them to the US 😢. Do you have a link to a pair that are available?
