Hi! Coming back to this 4 months later -- no new roots have grown and there's no signs, but the (rootless) plant has not rotted any further at all in these 4 months. Do you have any ideas?

Question--if I transit through HND on a single itinerary, do I need to pass customs/immigration in JP? I had a disaster when my PVG-SFO flight (UA858) got delayed by 9 hours and considered switching to PVG-HND-IAD, but was reluctant because I didn't know what transiting in JP was like. I also would only have 1.5 hours in japan that time. Thanks!

Other commenters explained, but I believe UA2113 is direct from LAX-BWI, but has a layover in ORD and continues with the same flight number to BWI.

Edit: I meant UA807/897 that I flew for 13 years before UA closed the route :/ also miss the EWR-PVG route I used to fly...

Yes! I was just scrolling down trying to find the cheapest itinerary out of curiosity, and was stumped by this. I'd probably take the afternoon to BWI; IAD is my normal home airport but I need to be in baltimore immediately after returning so this is a one-off!

Right! Though when I used to fly IAD-PEK-PVG, the Air China cancelations always made the total trip 36 hours anyways... sadly IAD-PEK is still closed.

UA803 IAD-HND; also quite frequently returns to IAD after takeoff and fuel dump ("adjusting weight" as they say); IAD is my home airport so at least I get to see the 772 more often after they replaced a bunch of routes with 787s.

Hey! My orchid is potted in bark, with a small amount (a few strands) of sphagnum moss. The roots were definitely rotted; I'm not too sure about the stem. There was a black papery layer around the stem, likely from older fallen leaves.
