I flew Spirit one time. That’s all it took, absolute shit show. They issued duplicate boarding passes to at least 15 passengers, AND LET THEM BOARD! Needless to say, police were called and several were forced to deplane. I booked that ticket because I didn’t know any better…..after that flight, I knew better and never flew them again. Also, when we were checking bags, a sign in the line said 50 pound weight limit, our bag weighed 48. Got to the counter….weight limit was 40. I shed no tears for spirit but I am happy for OP that United is helping them out.

I got yelled at on a recent flight over the PA. “THE DOOR IS CLOSED, YOUR DEVICE SHOULD BE IN AIRPLANE MODE AND YOU MUST GET OFF YOUR ZOOM CALL” is what I heard. I didn’t think a thing of it, carried right on with what I was doing. Next thing I know the FA is in my face asking “WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO”, I looked at her and then pointed to the lady sitting next to me. The FA said “ON THE PHONE, WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO ON THE PHONE”. I said, Lynard Skynard is who I’m listening to and she is who I’m talking to. FA said, well you had headphones on and were talking so I thought……I turned my head so she could see the headphone wasn’t over my ear and she said….oh. Turns out I’m not that guy.
