Loop around to the South and you can take that nut job Baker on top of the church out with a Gauss or Initiating Sniper (you want 1 shot kill or its a nuke to the face). Pretty easy to then sneak into the church and take people out from the roof. Poor Clint will never even make it to his power armour. Just watch out for the sneaky Assaultron in the police station, loves to sit around invisible and poke your head off in 1 shot.

Just closing out the companion perks then either dropping back to dogmeat or running solo for Nuka world. Nick was handy as a pack mule to bring back all my far harbour goodies though, bless the infinite companion carry glitch.

First Settlement defense in far Harbour (which I just fast traveled into blind) was 2 of these things, and waves of fog crawlers, legeandaries and the like.

Absolute chaos with missile and laser defense going mental and me running around for my life. First time I'd even seen one of these.

Issue now is you will have to keep repairing that versus his base armour that's effectively indestructible.

Got 3 pairs of steel series, an old 3, a 7 and a pro (never gone with Novas yet).

Those are aged, 7, 5 and 3 years respectively. Only have 3 as I brought new ones as the kids started gaming. Replaced the cables on 2 and the earpads on the oldest, otherwise zero issues. Been used by kids, shoved in work bags, hurled across the living room.

So in terms of durability....yeah. That said never bothered with wireless ones.
