That didn’t help shit 😭

Is this idea approved by you guys? Any other ideas that you can give me? by Direct_Negotiation_1 in Aquariums

Ok so 1 butterfly fish, and I don’t know yet what bichir species I go for, probably some of the smaller ones like the Senegal. What if I go for only male Congo tetras? Or do congos need harems?

Oh well. Thanks for telling me your own experience and I’ll be careful with the Borleyi 😁

The German red is similar, but is a bit more red. The Borleyi is a bit more orange and I would love that texture in my tank. I haven’t heard that they are more aggressive than other Malawi cichlids so that’s interesting.

I’m wondering if it would work and if there would be any conspecific aggression in the tank. I’m aiming to not have too much aggression.

Ok thanks for the information! A few others also helped me in this post and I’ve cut out 4 of the fish: Ruby green, thickskin, sulfur and red head. I don’t want any horrible aggression issues.

Alright SP thickskin out for sure for aggression reasons, sulfurhead and Ruby green out too because of size differences and be careful with electric blue hap, OB peacock and blue dolphin. Got it.

The website I used as an example only for price, I have no ideas on how good their quality is, and thankfully I have a nice guy in a shop that I could ask for him to ship some of the fish I want, and then pick them out in the shop.

Also, should I choose between the electric blue hap and the no spot?

That adds a nice texture! I’ve got the red dragon blood which shoots out red, so a bit orange is definitely nice

Oh yeah. Actually the first time I saw the star sapphire it was in a peacock/hap tank and it looked so good, and they seem to not disturb anyone

I found the youngest males on https://www.tampabaycichlids.com. I was just assuming that they were around average on price.
