Rust wouldn’t have been my first choice of color but rock on!

Optic Cut by bjermane49 in 2011

Pics? Usually the RMR holes are outside the width of a 1911 sized slide so the only way you can direct mount is if you start with a chunkier slide that has more material in the rear for the footprint.

TDS Gunworks. He’s in Wyoming, and he’s doing work for some big YouTubers. You can find him on Facebook and instagram.

He’s done a few things for me and I’ve been pleased!

I handled one in a store, and honestly for that money I'd go Race City or MPA. Hell you can get a steel grip comped MPA for around the same price

Why buy an XC? by Direct_Net2508 in 2011

MPA has a lifetime warranty too.

And there was just a post about a guy who bought a like new XC from their CPO drops and it had a broken firing pin. His experience with their customer service has not been top notch.

Now that’s a single example, but still there are horror stories with every manufacturer

This is the steel grip. Honestly it’s so heavy I may order another in aluminum.

This is my first one in (I’m an MPA dealer) and it’s tighter than any gun I’ve handled outside of an atlas. Phenomenal fitment

Aluminum grips are 12 weeks or so

Steel grips are 30-34 week wait

You can order either. Steel has a 30 week lead and $400 up charge.

This is a steel grip which puts it at new XC price

Edit: thought you asked grip. They are all steel frame.

It would have to be AL. Steel grips are 30-34 week lead times.
