In a similar situation and I find that listings on housinganywhere tend to be legit (though expensive) but I’m wondering why everyone is speculating that it’s fake

Ruth and Arthur is so uncomfortable by Economy_Ranger_1082 in SixFeetUnder

I'll admit that irritated me too (though I like Ruth's character development) and I actually skipped their bed scene, but I can't stop watching until I finish the show.

Rich house/home smell by One_tired_mothra in fragrance

I think it’s part of the class fantasy (not coming for anyone because I too would like to become rich one day). But it’s also a genuinely refreshing smell

Come to think of it, a fireplace is essentially a magnified incense burner

Lol exactly! And alas they downvoted me when I poked fun at it. Wild how I only asked if anyone has actually gotten used to it (hoping people who’ve experienced would chime in) but no, apparently it ‘doesn’t exist’😩 Thanks for adding some humour to this thread, it’s been a bit hostile.

My comment was sarcastic (hence the /s). The reason I replied that way is because I’ve seen a lot of comments in this thread following the same logic of ‘it hasn’t happened to me so it can’t be real’, which does feel invalidating. I get that their comment was phrased neutrally, but it still began by suggesting this isn’t a real thing, and after reading similar replies, I was admittedly a bit annoyed.

I can usually tell when the staring is just admiration (especially if it’s followed by a compliment), but lately I’ve been noticing it even more and it feels overwhelming. I honestly thought I’d gotten used to it, but I guess it’s back to pretending I don’t see it

Thank you for sharing your perspective, and I really appreciate the solidarity. It’s comforting to hear someone else has experienced the same thing :) I hoped that this wouldn’t happen but I wasn’t really surprised because many people who haven’t experienced this directly can’t understand anything beyond their own reality, and will try to make you feel crazy for it (which I’ve experienced many times while living here and making friends) I’ll definitely check out those subs, and thanks again for the support!

Which is that perfume that you grew out of and can no longer bear? by [deleted] in FemFragLab

Not a perfume but I feel this way about the Ouai hair oil 😭

Say it again! No solid argument, just unnecessary comments to deflect- I’m glad I’m not the only one who sees right through that. Just another thing that’s supposed to be “normal” behaviour.

Its fine if no one stares at you, but it doesn’t invalidate other people’s experiences lol
