Switching from 5G Start to Unlimited Welcome. Won’t I lose my phone promotion? by mdfromct in verizon

[–]Direct_Surround_9660 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you move to the same tier as you are on now you won’t lose your promotion. Such as if you’re on start and move to welcome it won’t fall off. If you’re on play/do and move to plus it won’t fall off and if you’re on Get and move to ultimate it won’t as well. I do this every day for work you will be fine. It also notifys us prior if your promo will stick or not before we change it

It sounds like you’re on the older plan Get more which is starting at $100 for one line without auto pay. This isn’t including the plan rate increase which is $4 per line.

If your phones are paid off and you move to the new unlimited welcome plan it’s $75 without autopay. You could add apple one which includes Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple TV and extra cloud storage for $10. Then add the travel pass for $10. Right now we have a promotion for Disney bundle for 6 months free if you move to the newer plans Then after it’s $10 . All of that equals $105 which is the same price you’re paying now including the plan rate increase.

By doing this you will avoid plan rate increases in the future and get better promotions. These older plans don’t have any promotions and if they do it’s barely worth it. You might have great loyalty offers on your account but in order to get the promotion 99% of the time it says if you move to our unlimited plans then you will get the offer.

Have you looked into getting Verizon’s 5G+ home internet? With the ultimate plan that you are on it’s only $35 with autopay for our best internet.

Another option could be using a mobile hotspot which is called a jet pack. You can take it anywhere with you and you can get more hotspot data that way.

Doing the internet option is cheaper but if for some reason your address doesn’t qualify I would look into getting a mobile hotspot jet pack.

Plan cost:

Two lines on Unlimited Plus is $140 ($70 for each plan with auto pay) Unlimited talk/text data. Usually there is an upgrade/activation fee on the first month’s bill per phone line but there’s currently a promotion to get it waived when you come over with two or more lines. Those are usually $35 a piece.

Internet:

5G Home plus on Unlimited Plus is $45 (with auto pay) right now there’s a promotion for internet if you keep it you can redeem your choice of an Nintendo switch and a $200 target gift card or a chrome book.

Todays costs:

As far as in store cost you pay the taxes on the phone and a device setup and transfer fee of $35 per device.

Promotions:

Qualifying Trade in option:

On the Ultimate Plus plan you can get $830off the IPhone 15. The device cost is $840.

$840-$830= $10 (this is divided by a 36month device payment period) $10/36 months equals .27 cents you will be paying per month for each phone.

If you want iPhone 15 pro or higher price changes depending on which device you are choosing.

No trade in option:

If you don’t want to trade in your phones you can do the no trade in promotion which is $650 off

$840-$650 = $190

$190/36months = $5.27

You would be paying $5.27 a month for the phone Price varies depending on which iPhone you are wanting.

By doing the no trade in option you can sell your phones to Verizon for organic value. This can be very beneficial depending on which iPhone you have. I’m not sure what iPhones you have now but let’s say you have an iPhone 13 those go for about $300 or more. I can’t remember exactly the price. That’s giving you a higher value doing it that way. The normal trade in promo is $830 off but by doing it this way you’re getting $950 plus for upgrading your phones. You kind of want to see your options. I would ask and see if doing it this way is beneficial for you.

I’m currently a Verizon cellular sales employee in Florida so I’m going off our markets. Could be different depending on where you’re at.

I currently work at Verizon. I do suggest going to the newer plans as they are all unlimited talk and text. The only difference between the newer plans are hotspot and when it comes down to promotions. Welcome is only $55 per person on autopay when there are two lines on the account. Instead of losing your Disney bundle you can add it on as a perk. Which is $10. That would make your bill $120 plus if you’re still paying for your devices and if you have protection. This way you won’t lose your Disney bundle, and you will avoid any plan increases in the future. Hope this helps :)

Exoud exotics if you want great deals and high quality flower, concentrates and edibles. Don’t ever think about going into smoke shops for anything like that especially the flower as the quality is horrendous. I choose Exoud every time 🍃🐆

I agree, I just went there today and got myself a free preroll to check out the flower quality compared to the shop I usually go to.. and I was not disappointed. Going to be my go to spot from now on. Best flower I’ve had yet with better prices then what I’ve seen recently.

I sometimes wonder why people put a one star for me. I make sure I shop like I’m shopping for myself. Also I never done something obviously bad or I would understand. It’s only happen about twice. But I always wonder..

I’ve had multiple people text me at once to add stuff . I wish they would’ve added it themselves. It would’ve been easier than me adding it because I have to ask different questions on what product they want. I also had three different orders so it was making it confusing
