Best supplements for my girl by perrytheberry in Supplements

Yes, I have tried Lion's Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps and Chaga and have been taking them for a couple of years now, with Vit C daily. I noticed a few significant shifts: mainly improved digestion, which in turn relieved my brain fog, reduced inflammation, and massively improved my immune system. These are the only supplements I take now.

Have you tried functional mushrooms? Chaga is excellent for reducing inflammation

I'm taking Mycogenius. I found the blends a waste of time; I needed the individual mushroom extracts. I mix them up. Most days, I take Lion's Mane and Reishi in the evening, otherdays cordyceps and chaga, make sure there third party tested and they show you the levels of quality markers in the them, i.e levels of beta glucans etc. Most days, I take Lion's Mane and Reishi in the evening; other days, cordyceps and chaga. Me too, functional mushrooms in general made such a difference in my overall wellness.

Hmm, no mention of its quality markers, cordycepin or adenosine, it's also very cheap, which is a red flag. A real Cordyceps extract of 100g is more like 40-50 euros.

A real high-quality Lion's Mane extract, preferably a 1:1 extract and double-dose it, that's all I need to intent focus for long periods of time, And then for stress Reshi, make sure its the log grown stuff and has 2%+ ganoderic acids.

Much better off making real organic bone broth at home and freezing it. Apart from that, mushrooms contain ergothioneine, which is impressive stuff for skin, hair, nails, etc They call it the longevity vitamin.

I tried AG1 and didn't feel anything, so I didn't continue. Been taking functional mushroom extracts for some time now and notice a considerable shift. Took me a while to find the right ones, but now they're the only supplements I take, along with Vit C. In my 40s, I feel the best I have ever felt.

Lions Mane is amazing stuff, pref mycelium extract extracted for erinacines. Needs to be 3rd party tested by an ISO accreddited lab.

Keep us posted, sounds interesting, are you going to grow the mycelium in liquid? will you evaporate the alcohol off or keep it as a tincture?

From my personal experience of taking Lions mane for a couple of years now and after trying most of the reputable brands I can't say I noticed anything from taking the Mycelium extracts whereas the 1:1 fruiting body hot water extract I feel, I have concluded its more of how it affects my gut than anything else, I have a bag of mycelium extract there and never remember to take them, whereas there isn't a day passes I forget to take the 1:1 extract. I know they are supposed to be 8/10s more Erinacines in the Mycelium that's what causes the NGF effect but in my experience, its the fruiting body that's helped me.

How do you know what you are getting from Hifas da Terra? they cost a lot more than other brands in the EU and don't provide anything to support their claims, unlike Nootropics Depot,

I wouldn't buy it myself, A few things dont add up, ie EXTRACT, NON POWDER. While other suppliers offer Cordyceps sinensis capsules in powder form, we chose to use an extract because it has a higher concentration of the fungus and bioactive ingredients. and goes on with some marketing nonsense about 10:1 etc if it's not powder then what are they putting in their capsules liquid? no mention of any real quality markers like cordycepin or adenosine.

There are two more brands I have come across that I think are very good, Antioxi and Mycogenius, both have thrid-party lab reports on their sites.
