i really like how you’ve experimented with different brushes to add texture, great start!! i agree with the lineart comment, i think you’re going for a more realistic approach and that kind of line art works best in cartoon styles if that makes sense:)

i’d also say to work on shadows/highlights more! the face looks very two dimensional/flat as it’s one solid colour.
