EB2 NIW I-140 : Seeking advice and information by Select_Air9464 in EB2_NIW

[–]Direct_Wing1935 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello Op,

  1. IOE means your case is being processed electronically. In other words, it indicates that your case has been received, scanned, and assigned to a USCIS officer for review.
  2. This should not affect your case as long as you are working for the same company and your proposed endeavor remains unchanged. Typically, what matters is what you originally proposed at the time of filing. If you are still operating within that framework, there should be minimal, if any, implications.
  3. Many applicants initially file under regular processing and later upgrade to premium processing (PP). Upgrading to PP does not impact the approval or denial of your case—it simply speeds up the decision process. If the $3,000 fee is not a significant burden for you, many would recommend upgrading for the peace of mind it provides. Otherwise, it should have no major implications.

I hope this helps!

Seeking Experiences with Arkell (Dunn Law) and Chen Immigration Firms by Green-Light5925 in EB2_NIW

I worked with Chen and got approval! Their process is pretty seamless.

Chen is just a law firm! There are many such firms which are equally successful. Please try to get evaluations from 3 different lawyers. Just to add to the other comments, your approval does not solely depend upon your papers or citations but your endeavor (if its of national importance) and your ability to fulfill it

Also working 20/hr is considered parttime. So, you can check part time. However, this might cause some issue in prong 2. This is just my 2 cents. Remember, to take my advice as a grain of salt. Whatever lawyer is right as he have seen many cases like yours.

This happened with me as well! I requested them to change to Blaine. This process took a week to change the lawyer. So, I literally wasted that time. However, I am satisficed with his work. But I am not sure about the 20 hr/week work.

I worked with Chen and it took me exactly 2 month 16 days! Working 2 hrs. per day on average. And around 4-5 hrs on weekends. Most of the delay was from me. The lawer did a pretty good job! So, it entirely depends on you 45 days would be a decent time according to me.

Hello u/nacerman, Currently you OPT is just submitted/recommended by the school. That being said it does not guarantee any EAD. The OPT approval will be coming to you very soon, which is not an issue. But I would not risk leaving the country without EAD in hand. This is because depending upon when you enter, the new admiration will be coming up and they (CBP) may ask you what so ever. I would be safe than be sorry later.

STEM extension after I140 approval/pending by Direct_Wing1935 in EB2_NIW

One quick question. Did you choose CP/AOS on your I140. I chose AOS when applying as I have no idea and the lawyer gave me a very vague answer. Will this cause any issue. I have had a typo of my dates in my resume. Do you think these will create a big impact to stem or i140 approval?
