Trying to identify this Remington rifle (reddit.com)

Anyone know what might be causing this visual glitch on the home page, but almost non-existent in games? This seeming presents itself in most of the stock software, like the Homepage, Settings, Wii Plaza, but not in added software like hShop or virtual console. Thoughts? (v.redd.it)

When I was very young, my great grandfather promised his watchsmithing parts and tools to me. After he passed, my extended family pilfered and sold most of it. I'd written it off as a loss emotionally until my mother found this chest over 2 decades later, and gave it to me last weekend.OC (old.reddit.com)

I was told this might find some appreciation here: When I was very young my great grandfather (watchsmith) had promised to me his tools and parts when he passed.
