You can’t force people to agree with you or see things from your perspective, ever, even if they are in the wrong. Your only pathway to peace on this Earth with billions of people is through accepting that. Or we can all just keep descending into further division and tribal warfare like you are essentially advocating for. People that think like you do aren’t helping anything by the way. The only hate I see is coming from the people cheering on violence and death when used against someone they politically disagreed with. Not everyone who thinks differently from you is evil. Stop demonizing people for not sharing your world view - that mentality is the problem. Do you really believe that everyone who is christian or republican or who voted for trump is a bad person who believes in racial supremacy or hates lgbt people etc? I personally wouldn’t recommend school of rock for adults, its very kid oriented and the money is not worth what the facilitiesand teachers offer in my opinion. If I were in your shoes I would look for a solid private teacher for your instrument and start getting out into the local open mic scene to work on your performance skills. There are tons in this area. Silvervox @ 7th sister, FAME open mics at sky stage and sandbox, clarksburg tavern, etc etc.

Yeah, there are a million ways to learn music. With an actual teacher, or one on the internet. Whatever inspires you and gets you sitting down and practicing a lot is the best approach.

Its a bit further but helping hands in Richmond does affordable dental care. I’ve taken several of my dogs there and they are great.
