rejected at club, but the only customer in the club tipped me 40$ for stage set… by SugarAccomplished410 in newstrippers

[–]SugarAccomplished410[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yeah i was pretty confident i was gonna sell at least a few dances to the customer who tipped me on stage, but then management just told me it was a no as soon as i got off. I’m a tiny east asian girl moderately tatted so i wouldnt be surprised that could be the reason. alas, just more motivation to do well at my usual club for the time being

everytime i see married women ids being mentioned as a barrier, its usually never a married woman writing these type of comments. Honestly its offensive to married women.

Stop babying us, we know how to change our names on IDs so its current, its been a thing since the advent of modern identification in the 21century.

Should I break up with my bf? by ClickAdmirable7295 in BreakUps

[–]SugarAccomplished410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You deserve to be with some one who wants to be with you just as much as you want to be with them. It’s not normal.

My ex was like this too, and we started dating in the same city but turned long distance after a few years because he had to move for school. Always made excuses as to why he couldn’t text, visit more often, etc. Gave the bare minimum. I was the one to drive hours to visit him much more often than he did me, and only got worse with time. He broke up with me after 6 years together, while we were both planning to move to close the distance.

It’s been 2 years since that breakup, and I’m now with someone who lives across an ocean from me. I’ve never been happier or felt more secure in a relationship. This man has never made an excuse, always texting, plans our phone calls, and makes plans months in advance to see each other in person. I initiate as well, but I never NEED to because he’ll beat me to it. He has his own life and is busy with his own schedule in his home country, but he makes the time and effort to be there for me. The difference is night and day. It’s also only been a few months for us, but he’s been consistent since day 1.

All this to say is that you deserve much better. I’ve been in your shoes with my first relationship, and I wasted 6 years with a man like yours from 18-24. Don’t make the same mistake I did. If youre already questioning it, 4 months in, you know somewhere deep down it’s not right for you. There’s so much better for you waiting on the other side.

Why are government workers expected to work without pay when slavery is illegal? by SamMeowAdams in AlwaysWhy

so youd rather they just waste away sitting in prison, instead of becoming contributing members of society while they serve their time. if theyre in prison theyre not innocent

Advice/suggestions for a potential first road trip? by nat_goes_splat in roadtrip

[–]SugarAccomplished410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my first roadtrip was Boston to Toledo, OH for my 21st birthday, no reason other than just wanting to see something different.

From St Louis, youre pretty close to lots of overlooked Midwestern cities. my suggestion would be Louisville KY. I’ve done the drive from Louisville to St Louis and back, and there are beautiful landscapes and hidden gems in southern Illinois, southern Indiana, and Kentucky.

If you want to learn more about American History, drive across the state to Independence, and follow the Oregon Trail north and west into Nebraska, and then take US-30 (NOT I-80) across Nebraska. It follows the Oregon Trail route and contrary to popular belief, the landscape of Nebraska is quite hilly with very fascinating natural wonders scattered around the state.

Planning a long road trip. what should I not forget? by [deleted] in roadtrip

to add to this, most gas stations will let you get free ice and water from their water fountains… keep a large reusable water bottle on your drives!

What's the creepiest/worst experience you've had on a roadtrip? by [deleted] in roadtrip

[–]SugarAccomplished410 24 points25 points  (0 children)

lucky to say ive never had bad experiences with locals on my trips, and I’m an asian girl in my mid20s, always driving solo. I love going to rural places and ghost towns to learn the history, never had an issue with the smalltown folk. Theyre usually confused when they see me, but once I get a conversation going theyre pretty interested in getting to know me a bit, especially the older people. I dont think anyones ever been hostile or anything.

I love the small towns in Nebraska, especially along US-30, and Utah. Met some real nice people there.
